Amahagan Edition No. 1 Blended Malt (47%)

Amahagan Edition No. 1 is a blended malt bottled at 47%. It was the first whisky from Nagahama, a small Japanese distillery with some of the smallest stills in the country, and it forms the base blend for the Amahagan range. The blend combines Japanese new malt whiskies with malt whiskies imported from abroad. Nagahama sits on the site of a brewery and draws on natural water from Lake Biwa. The nose offers orange, vanilla, chocolate and oak. The palate is soft yet intense, with orange and apple, and the finish is fruity.
