This AMAHAGAN is a blended malt made by the Nagahama Distillery in a collaboration with the manga Madoromi Barmaid, and it is the first release in the series. It is named after Yuki Tsukikawa, the bartender who runs the pop-up bar SATELLITE. It comes in a 70cl bottle, and 2,000 bottles were released.
The blend is built on a full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon red wine cask whisky, with a fruity white wine cask whisky added.
The nose is floral, with orange galette, custard, vanilla and honey, and later mint and cherry. The palate is rich and velvety with white chocolate, grapefruit and raisins. The finish is warm, spicy and dry.
