Amahagan Saint Seiya Gold Series Capricorn Shura

This limited-edition Amahagan blend of grain and malt whiskies was made at Nagahama Distillery. It belongs to the Saint Seiya Gold Saint series, created with Toei Animation, and celebrates the anime character Capricorn Shura. It comes in a box with a golden label. The nose is smoky, with grilled apple and pineapple, muscat and campfire, and a background of clove and allspice. Toasted marshmallow and banana appear with time. The palate is silky, with toasted almonds, roasted pineapple, dried fig and honey lemon, and a mouth-filling sweet smoke. Water brings out grapefruit.
