A limited edition Amahagan blend made at Nagahama Distillery, bottled at 47% ABV. It combines aged malt whiskies from around the world and was created for the Saint Seiya animated series, with the character Pisces Aphrodite in mind.
One malt in the blend was matured in red wine barrels, while a grain whisky aged for 20 years adds a firmer character.
The nose brings flowers, glossy mixed berries, cheesecake and Earl Grey. The palate is silky, with flowers and assorted berries, faint red wine and dessert notes, and a touch of pink pepper.
