Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG from Cà dei Frati, presented in a wooden case. Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes are dried for several months before pressing, then the wine is aged in French oak barriques.
It has a robust structure and complex aroma, with red fruit, dried plum and sweet spice notes. Serve at about 18-20°C with braised meats, stews, roasts and aged cheeses.
