This is an Australian single malt from Amber Lane, a distillery in the Yarramalong Valley, north of Sydney. It is bottled at 56% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky combines casks from the Bourbon and Botrytis Semillon dessert wine traditions.
The nose suggests barley sugar, honey, creme brûlée, vanilla ice cream, buttered scones and millefeuille. On the palate come crystallised ginger, chocolate Cornetto, hazelnut, vanilla pods and honeycomb, with a light tartness. The finish is long.
