Amrut Cask 888 is a cask strength single malt from Amrut Distillery in India, bottled at 62.8% abv from a single cask in a 70cl bottle. It is made from 100% Indian barley and matured in the heat of Bangalore, where the whisky ages more quickly.
The colour is deep amber with mahogany hues. The nose is fruity, with dried tropical fruit, dark chocolate and warming spice. The palate is full-bodied, with dark fruit, espresso, cinnamon and clove, and the finish is long and warming with spice and dark chocolate.
