Amrut Cask 888 Cask Strength Single Malt (70cl, 62.8%)

Amrut Cask 888 is a cask strength Indian single malt from the Amrut Distillery, bottled from a single cask at 62.8% in a 70cl bottle. It is made from 100% Indian barley and matured in the heat of Bangalore, which speeds up the ageing. Deep amber with mahogany hues, it has a fruity nose of dried tropical fruit, dark chocolate and warming spice, with vanilla, toffee, oak and a little floral sweetness. The palate is full-bodied, with dark fruit, espresso, cinnamon and clove, and the finish is long and warming with spice, dark chocolate and oak.
