Amrut – Fusion Indian Whisky (70cl, 50%)

Amrut Fusion is an Indian whisky made with barley from both Scotland and India, bottled at 50% abv in a 70cl bottle. It is a full-flavoured expression with a citrus character. The nose is heavy and thickly oaked, with barley sugar and soft smoke. On the palate the smoke turns to peat alongside oaky vanilla, a sherry trifle note, barley fruitiness and a middle of chocolate fudge. The finish brings dry peat and oak, molassed sweetness and spice.
