Amrut Fusion X is a single malt bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle. It was released on 25 November to mark the 10th anniversary of Amrut Distilleries, in a run of 1,010 bottles sent to international markets.
The whisky starts from the familiar Fusion base and was matured for four years in sherry casks brought in from Spain.
On the palate it shows marzipan, vanilla and citrus, followed by peat that comes through and lingers.
