A single malt from Amrut Distilleries of India, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It belongs to the Single Malts of India umbrella brand, and takes its name from the Neidhal, or coastal, region said to shape its character.
On the nose there are tropical fruits and vanilla with soft phenols, and above all sea salt. The palate is fruit cocktail with pronounced phenols and a touch of iodine, followed by a chewy middle. The finish is phenolic with a little sweet vanilla.
