Amrut Peated is an Indian single malt whisky, bottled at 46% abv in a 70cl bottle. It is golden yellow in colour.
The nose is dry peat, likened to peat smoke soaked into an old leather armchair, with a hint of citrus. The palate opens with molassed sugar before the peat builds, growing drier and spicier while the molasses holds on. The finish is clean and deep, with butterscotch and vanilla wrapped around the phenols.
