Amrut Triparva Indian Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 50%)

Amrut Triparva is an unpeated Indian single malt from the Amrut distillery in Bangalore, bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle. On its 2020 release it was the first triple-distilled single malt made in India. The name refers to that triple distillation, not to the casks, as the whisky is matured entirely in ex-bourbon oak. Only 5,400 bottles were released worldwide. The nose combines salted caramel and coconut-vanilla custard with peach, melon, pineapple and banana. On the palate come mango, papaya, creamy citrus, butterscotch and honey. The finish is long, with honey, gentle spice and earthy oak.
