Ancient Ancient Age 8 Year Old (70cl, 43%)

Ancient Ancient Age 8 Year Old is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon, distilled and matured at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky. It is bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle and carries an 8-year age statement. The repeated "Ancient" is the official name of this expression, which is known as a Japan-market release within the Ancient Age range. Before 1999 the distillery operated as the Ancient Age Distilling Company. The bourbon is understood to use Buffalo Trace's Mash Bill #2, a corn-led recipe with a comparatively higher rye content, generally believed to be around 12 to 15 per cent, and it is matured in new charred American oak.
