This is a single barrel Kentucky straight bourbon from Angel's Envy, bottled at 55% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It comes from barrel SB-250477 and belongs to the Club Marzipan Bottom Shelf Edition. The bourbon is blended at between four and six years old, then finished for a further three to six months in a single Ruby Port barrel. The barrels are brought in from the Douro region of Portugal, and each is said to carry its own flavour profile. The Port finish is usually described as bringing cherry, brown sugar and dark chocolate to the palate, with vanilla and stone fruit on the nose.
