Antinori Castello della Sala Conte della Vipera 2024 Umbria IGT (75cl)

Conte della Vipera is a white wine from Castello della Sala, the Antinori family's Umbrian estate, made as a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon. It was first produced in 1997 and takes its name from the Monaldeschi della Vipera family, the original owners of the castle. The 2024 vintage followed a mild winter, a moderately rainy spring and a hot, stable July and August with large day-to-night temperature swings. The nose shows pink grapefruit and lychee with hints of lime and pineapple. The palate is elegant and lively, with balanced structure and crisp freshness, and the long finish carries passion fruit, citrus and a light mineral note.
