This is a 14 year old single malt from Ardbeg on Islay, released as the Anthology edition The Unicorn's Tale. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured in a marriage of Madeira casks and ex-Bourbon casks.
On the palate there is powerful smoke and zesty lime, with soft barley and burning cedarwood in the distance. The finish brings together menthol, clove and camphor in a smoky close.
