This is a 14-year-old Ardbeg, bottled as the sixth release from Cut Your Woolf Loose and made with Hunto. It is a single cask single malt, and 274 bottles were filled from a refill cask.
The nose recalls a smoking pipe, matchsticks and a mint, with a hint of bacon sandwich. The palate is savoury and aromatic, with sweetness from the refill cask, salty citrus smoke and a touch of liquorice. The finish is long, ending on rubber and cracked pepper.
