Ardbeg Traigh Bhan 19 Year Old is the first edition of a new limited series from the Islay distillery. It was distilled in 2000, bottled in 2019 at 46.2% ABV and matured in American oak and Oloroso sherry casks.
The nose opens with smoky pineapple, sour cream and wood smoke, followed by fresh oak, black leather, toffee and liquorice. With water, flint, pine resin, coal tar, citrus soda and vanilla cheesecake appear. On the palate there is strong peat smoke with a salty feel.
