Ardbeg Traigh Bhan 5 is the fifth edition in the distillery's Traigh Bhan series, a peated Islay single malt with a minimum age of 19 years. It is bottled at 46.2% ABV, non-chill-filtered, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky matured in traditional ex-American casks and oloroso sherry casks. The batch code is TB/05-12.02.2004/23.GM.
Tasting notes describe tropical fruit, including mango and guava, along with chilli, alongside lardy and peaty notes.
