Ardbeg 19 Years Old Traigh Bhan Batch 4 is a 19-year-old Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in a slightly higher proportion of Oloroso sherry casks and bottled at full moon. The name comes from Traigh Bhan beach on Islay.
Minty, herbal notes sit alongside intense peat smoke. The nose shows pine, fennel, lime sorbet, medicinal pastilles and eucalyptus, with hazelnut, vanilla and redcurrant after a drop of water. The palate brings wood smoke, dark chocolate, ground coffee, lemon curd and aniseed. The finish is long, with vanilla fondant, cocoa powder and clove.
