This is a single cask Ardbeg from Islay, a 1972 vintage bottled on 13 October 2004 at 32 years old. It was an official bottling for Germany, and this is bottle 146 of 216, in a 70cl bottle at 45.3% ABV. The nose is pure smoke and apples. The palate is softer, with smoke and cooked white fruits coming through after a slightly delicate middle.
