Ardbeg 25 Years Old is an Islay single malt from the Ardbeg distillery, a 2022 release. The whisky has a deep amber colour and a full, silky texture.
Peat smoke runs through it, alongside sea breeze, smoked bacon, dried fruits and spicy oak on the nose. The palate adds dark chocolate, caramel, dried fruit and a faint burnt coffee note, and the long finish returns to peat smoke and spicy oak.
