Ardbeg An Oa is an Islay single malt bottled at 46.6% ABV, in the 2026 presentation. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
Whiskies from Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, new charred oak casks and first-fill bourbon casks are married together in a Gathering Vat, which gives the peat smoke a rounder, sweet and fruity side.
The nose has gentle smoke and creamy toffee with ripe banana, dates and peach, plus a touch of aniseed. On the palate, milk chocolate and bright orange meet marked smoke and a bitter hint of grilled artichoke. The long finish stays smoky, with sweet tobacco and spice.
