Ardbeg An Oa 'The BBQ Smoker' is an Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 46.6%. The An Oa bottling is named for the Oa peninsula, which shelters the distillery on Islay's southernmost point from the Atlantic winds.
The whisky was assembled from bourbon, Pedro Ximenez and new oak casks, then blended together in a large Gathering Vat.
It is described as smoky with a soft sweetness, with Ardbeg's peat alongside dark chocolate, black pepper and clove.
