Ardcore is a limited Ardbeg single malt, released for the Fèis Ìle Festival and Ardbeg Day 2022. It is bottled at 50.1% in a 70cl bottle.
The distillery used black malt for this edition, meaning barley that has been roasted. This gives powerful, almost cocoa-like notes, set against Ardbeg's strongly peated character.
