Ardbeg Ardcore is a limited edition single malt from Islay, in a 70cl bottle. It was released for the Fèis Ìle festival and Ardbeg Day in 2022.
The distillate for this bottling was made from black malt, barley that has been heavily roasted. That roasting gives the whisky powerful, almost cocoa-like notes, set against Ardbeg's strongly peated character.
Tasting Notes
