This is a limited-edition Islay single malt from Ardbeg, released in 2021 in a 70cl bottle. It marks the career of Mickey Heads, who retired after 13 years as Distillery Manager and Committee Chair.
The whisky is matured in ex-rye casks.
The nose is smoky, with banana, pear, rye bread, lemon and vanilla toffee. The palate brings spicy pepper, melon, kiwi, aniseed and smoked toffee over a base of savoury peat smoke.
