Ardbeg – Arrrrrrrdbeg! Committee Release (70cl, 51.8%)

Arrrrrrrdbeg! is an Islay single malt from Ardbeg, bottled at 51.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle. This Committee Release marks the retirement of Distillery Manager Mickey Heads after 13 years in the role, and it was issued as a limited edition for Ardbeg Committee members. It is the distillery's first whisky matured entirely in ex-rye casks, which add spice and fruit to the peated spirit while keeping its smoky character. The nose offers smoked banana, pear and sweet rye spice. On the palate, peat smoke meets orchard fruits, peppery oak, citrus and warming spice, leading to a long, smoky finish.
