Ardbeg – Blaaack (70cl)

Ardbeg Blaaack is the edition the distillery presented at the 2020 Islay festival. It also marks twenty years of the Ardbeg Committee, the group of aficionados of the brand. It comes in a 70cl bottle. The whisky was matured in oak casks that previously held pinot noir from New Zealand, an unusual choice for an Islay malt. It is described as having cherry and ripe fruit aromas.
