Ardbeg Committee Exclusive 17 Year Old is an Islay single malt in a 75cl bottle, released for the Ardbeg Committee and non-chill filtered.
The whisky spent seventeen years maturing in selected casks on Islay's coast, exposed to sea air and humidity.
The nose brings smouldering peat, coastal brine, citrus oil and vanilla, with leather, toasted nuts and oak. On the palate are charcoal smoke, salted caramel, citrus zest, warm malt and dark honey. The finish is long, with ash, sea salt, old oak and a soft sweetness.
