Ardbeg Dolce is an Islay single malt bottled at 47.8% in a 70cl bottle to mark Ardbeg Day 2026. It takes its inspiration from La Dolce Vita, the sweet life of southern Italy.
The whisky was matured in bourbon casks and Sicilian Marsala casks. Marsala is a fortified wine from Sicily, and here its sweetness meets the peated Ardbeg spirit.
The nose opens with mineral, salty and smoky notes, then apricots, orange, dates, raisins and malt. The palate combines dried and candied fruit, peach, marmalade, honey, nuts and chocolate with smoky, earthy and peppery peat. The finish is long, with peat smoke, ash, oak and citrus.
