Grooves is a limited edition single malt from Ardbeg, in a 70cl bottle. It matured in ex-wine casks that were charred very heavily, until grooves appeared in the wood.
The name comes from those grooves. They increase the surface of wood in contact with the whisky and help develop its aromas.
