Ardbeg – Heavy Vapours (Ardbeg Day 2023) (70cl)

Heavy Vapours is a limited edition Ardbeg single malt, released for the Fèis Ile Festival and Ardbeg Day 2023. It comes in a 70cl bottle. The distillation was altered for this release. The second distillation, in the spirit still, was run without a purifier, so the heavy vapours of this peated malt stay in the whisky. The result shifts the usual balance of Ardbeg: the characteristic peat notes are much more present and pronounced.
