Ardbeg Smoketrails Napa Valley Edition is an Islay single malt in a 1 litre bottle, bottled at 46% and non-chill-filtered. This edition of the Smoketrails collection crosses the Atlantic to California's Napa Valley, a region known for its Cabernet Sauvignon red wine casks. The heart of the whisky was matured in Cabernet Sauvignon casks and then married with classic ex-bourbon casks. Napa Valley casks are known for rich fruit, velvety tannins and touches of oak and spice. The label describes baked rye, rich espresso and cool menthol.
