Ardbeg Supernova 2010 is a single malt released by the Ardbeg Committee, bottled at 60.1%. It is peated to over 100ppm, which makes it one of the most heavily peated whiskies.
The nose is punchy, with espresso, berry fruits, chilli, black pepper and hints of tar. Hot spices, leather and cigars come through on the palate with a strong peat presence, chocolate and anise. The finish is long and smoky, with hot tar, creosote and vanilla.
