Ardbeg – Ten 10 Year Old (70cl, 46%)

Ardbeg Ten is a ten-year-old Islay single malt from the distillery's core range, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. The whisky is matured mainly in ex-bourbon casks of American oak, and the malt is heavily peated. Peat smoke is set against lemon and lime, with vanilla and toffee adding sweetness. Sea salt and seaweed bring a maritime note, and dark chocolate is also mentioned.
