Ardbeg Ten is a ten-year-old Islay single malt, matured in ex-bourbon casks and bottled at 46% ABV. Ardbeg traces its tradition back to 1815, and the whisky is made from barley smoked with peat.
The ex-bourbon casks give it a golden colour. It is described as one of the peatiest Scotch whiskies, with earthy, smoky notes and a touch of sweetness, and a long, lingering finish.
