Ardbeg Traigh Bhan is a 19 year old Islay single malt, here from Batch 1, in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in American oak and Oloroso sherry casks and bottled at 46.2%, non-chill-filtered. It takes its name from the Traigh Bhan beach, known locally as the Singing Sands.
The nose offers herbal pine resin, smoky pineapple and dark chilli chocolate. The palate is peaty and smoky, with toasted oak and paprika, leading to a gentle, long finish.
