Ardbeg – Twenty Something 22 Year Old (70cl, 46.4%)

This is a 22 year old Islay single malt from Ardbeg, distilled in 1996 and bottled in July 2018 at 46.4% ABV. It comes in a 70cl bottle. The distillery describes it as full of flavour, with the house peat and smoke running through the whole dram. In the tasting notes, fresh green apples with a crumble topping lead into vanilla toffee and aniseed, all set against Ardbeg's distinctive peat and smoke.
