Ardbeg Wee Beastie is a young Scotch single malt from the Ardbeg distillery, aged five years. It is bottled at 47.4% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and with no added colouring.
The character is strongly peaty and smoky. The nose brings peat and smoke with citrus, vanilla and a light sweetness, recalling a bonfire.
On the palate the smoky spice meets sweetness and a slightly oily texture, with roasted malt, salted caramel, pepper and cloves. The finish is long and intense, with clear peat and smoke that gradually turn to a sweet, fruity aftertaste.
