Ardmore – 8 Year Old 2008, Signatory (46%)

An eight year old single malt from Ardmore, bottled by Signatory at 46%. It was distilled on 24 June 2008, matured in a bourbon barrel and bottled on 25 October 2016, with 325 bottles filled. Ardmore is a Highland distillery founded in 1898. It continues to dry its malted barley only with smoke from Highland peat fires, which gives a whisky that is richly peated. Signatory is an independent bottler set up in 1988 in Edinburgh. It bought Edradour in 1992 and now bottles from its base in Leith.
