Gordon & MacPhail Distillery Labels Ardmore 15 Year Old

This is a 15 year old Ardmore single malt from Gordon & MacPhail's Distillery Labels range, which presents the house style of each distillery. The whiskies in the range are matured in Gordon & MacPhail's own casks, often with an age statement. The independent bottler was founded in Elgin in 1895. It is described as balanced, with sweet smoke, woody spices, vanilla and ripe fruit. The nose brings butterscotch, green apple and subtle oak spice, while the palate has peat woven with fruity, malty flavours. The finish is long, sweet, slightly peppery and gently peaty.
