Ardnamurchan – 2017 Peated 8 Year Old Warehouse No. 1

This is a peated Ardnamurchan distilled on 13 October 2017 and bottled in the winter of 2025/26 at eight years old. It belongs to Claxton's Warehouse No. 1 series, and 250 bottles were filled. The whisky matured in a bourbon barrel. Sweet oils, smoke and malt come first on the nose, earthy and biscuity. The palate brings shortbread, peat smoke, soft soot and malty sweetness. The finish has crushed white pepper and smoky malt.
