Ardnamurchan 2018 AD Heritage Barley is a Highland single malt, bottled by the distillery in 2025 as a small batch at full cask strength of 59.2% ABV. It comes in a 70cl bottle, without colouring or chill filtration.
The batch is made up of bourbon barrels filled in 2018 with Ardnamurchan's unpeated spirit, distilled from Golden Promise barley. This is the variety that was used in the postwar period for the classic Macallan whiskies.
The release is an edition of 10,290 bottles. Golden Promise is known for rich, chewy flavours and an oily texture.
