Ardnamurchan – 2019 6 Year Old North Star Cask Series #025

This is a 6 year old Ardnamurchan bottled by North Star Spirits as part of its Cask Series #025. It was distilled in February 2019 and matured in a first fill Oloroso sherry butt, then bottled in February 2025. The outturn is 610 bottles. The nose combines cola spice with fresh citrus, like candied zest and cola cubes. The palate has a creamy texture, with hazelnut custard and lightly scorched raspberry, full-bodied and strong in character. The finish lasts a long time, with dark berries, melted chocolate and a firm touch of black coffee.
