Ardnamurchan – AD/04.22:02 Bottled 2022 (70cl, 46.8%)

Ardnamurchan AD/04.22:02 is a Highland single malt bottled by the distillery in 2022 at 46.8%, in a 70cl bottle. It was the first core release of 2022 from Adelphi's Ardnamurchan distillery, and it is bottled without colouring or chill filtration. The make is an even split of peated and unpeated Ardnamurchan malt, with 65% from ex-bourbon casks and 35% from ex-sherry casks. The nose has toasted marshmallows, minerals, orange oil and popcorn. The palate runs through salted popcorn, smores, sea salt, brine, lime cordial, charred marshmallows, bitter orange and dark chocolate, with a smoky old-fashioned cocktail note.
