This is a 10 year old Highland single malt from Ardnamurchan Distillery, the 2025 release of its AD/10 bottling, in a 70cl bottle at 46.8% ABV. It is non-chill-filtered and natural in colour. The whisky was matured in a combination of ex-bourbon barrels and Paul Launois barriques. The wine casks bring citrus, orchard fruit and a pastry-like richness, set alongside coastal freshness, sweet malt and gentle smoke. The nose offers lemon zest, green apple and a sea breeze, then vanilla cream, honeycomb and brioche. The palate is silky, with citrus, poached pear, apricot and a measured hint of peat smoke. The finish is medium-long, with lemon curd, toasted nuts and a gently saline close.
