Ardnamurchan – AD/ Heritage Barley Release (70cl, 59.2%)

Ardnamurchan AD/ Heritage Barley Release is a limited edition Highland single malt from Ardnamurchan Distillery, made to show how traditional barley varieties shape texture and complexity. It was matured in a combination of selected casks and bottled at 59.2%, non-chill-filtered and at natural colour, in a 70cl bottle. The nose combines citrus zest, orchard fruits and honeyed malt with smoked barley, vanilla and coastal air, and dried herbs and warm spice follow with time. The palate is full-bodied and textural, with baked apple, toffee and lemon peel in gentle peat smoke. The finish is long and warming, with citrus oil, sea salt and toasted nuts.
