This is a Highland single malt from Ardnamurchan, released in 2024 in an edition of 5990 bottles. It is bottled at 50% ABV, unfiltered and of natural colour.
The whisky spent 5.5 years in ex-bourbon casks, then a further 30 months in Sauternes casks from Bordeaux.
The nose is sweet and fruity, with dried apricots, almonds and honey, and a light touch of oak and spice. The palate shows marzipan, apricot jam and a hint of green pepper. The finish is long and warm, with subtle spice and lasting dried-fruit sweetness.
